My story

I'm Margarita Morfin — a woman who has spent years carving out a path in tech, often as the only woman in the room. Not the only capable person. Not the only hard worker. The only woman.

When I began my career, I had to push through the quiet, persistent challenges of being unheard and underestimated. Of having my ideas overlooked, my presence questioned, my seat at the table feel borrowed rather than earned. Things have gotten better over the years — I won't pretend they haven't. But it's still different. It's still heavier. And most days, we carry that weight without saying a word about it.

Because as women, we juggle more. Our careers, our families, our emotions, our ambitions — all at once, all the time, in spaces that weren't always built with us in mind. We show up fully, give everything we have, and still sometimes wonder if it's enough. If we are enough.

That question used to keep me up at night. Now it fuels me.

This blog is my way of sharing those stories — mine and others' — to remind every woman reading this that she is not alone. That the weight she feels is real, and so is her strength. That the path forward doesn't have to be walked in silence.
